Project Build Wrap-up
We are nearing the point with the Motor City’s Ultimate Ram Project where 95% of our chosen accessories have been installed. We are waiting for the arrival of our Wilco Offorad HITCHGATE spare tire (and Hi-Lift jack + Jerry Can Carrier) to complete the rear of the Ram with our 37″ Toyo. Wilco is a great American company who fully support our troops and law enforcement. We’ve used there hard-core HITCHGATE back on our Ultimate F150 Project and it is bullet proof and looks tough as h$ll.

Spare Tire Carrier
We are currently evaluating several products for carrying our full size 37″ Toyo spare tire. We hope to make a decision in the next week. We are gearing up for a social media release of product updates on Detroit Holsters Facebook page – stay tuned.
Mumbly’s Crew Puts Finishing Touches on BDS Lift & AMP PowerSteps
The incredibly knowledgeable crew at Mumbly’s – Mike, Steve and Tim used their finally honed skills to complete the BDS 4-link suspension lift on our RAM. We’ll talk more about the kit in a later post as well as the sweet AMP Research PowerStep XLs.
2500 Arrived and Immediately off to MUMBLY’s Off-Road!!!!
We practically drove our new RAM from the dealership to Mumbly’s Off-Road in Fraser, Michigan where the BDS suspension lift and AMP Research PowerStep XLs will be installed. I’m actually at Mumbly’s now with the owner Mike as his boys wrench away….
BDS Suspension – 4-Link Toughness!
We are thrilled to announce that we just got off the phone with BDS and we will be having their premium 4-link 5.5″ suspension lift with all the trimmings installed on our Ultimate Ram by Mumbly’s Off Road. We anticipate installation to occur in mid November.
Tires and Wheels OTW
We’ve been fortunate once again to work with MHT / FUEL Off Road for our wheels.
We went with the black FUEL D513 THROTTLE series in 18×10 with 5″ backspacing. These gorgeous rims will be skinned in the aggressive TOYO 37 x 13.50 x 18 Open Country Mud Terrains.
The Motor City’s Top Lift Shop – MUMBLY’s Off Road
We spoke with the owner of Mumbly’s Off Road, which is one of the mid-west’s top lift shop…DECADES of experience, un-matched knowledge and great customer service.
The guys at Mumbly’s will be installing a 6″ suspension lift along with our AMP PowerStep XLs. We are trying to firm up the lift kit and hope to add them to our site soon.
